In 1954 my Mom and Dad opened up a small sandwich shop in Audubon, NJ.  The menu consisted of steak sandwiches to penny candy. Working together, they managed to build up a nice business.  In 1965, we moved to Ocean City and relocated Delís to the boardwalk, in the location we occupy today.

 

While the surfers at the time were hanging 10 on long boards by Dewey Weber and Greg Noll, Dad was serving famous steak sandwiches, burgers and much more.

 

Today, as time may have it, surfers are still riding those long classic boards, along with other new shapes and so are we.  Our classic steaks & burgers are still the traditional favorites of families, however, the addition of our homemade crab cakes, fresh seafood platters and other new items to our menu are destined to become classic favorites for years to come.

 

So we invite you to continue the tradition with us at Delís where classic food and service is not an option, itís what our family has been doing since 1965.
